For nearly a decade, members and collaborators of the IBM community have gathered for a three-day conference. Each conference provides attendees with a vast array of experiences, networking opportunities, and insider knowledge from the best experts in the field. After attending MWLUG, most people find that they have learned firsthand about the most relevant and exciting innovations in the IBM community, have made personal connections with industry professionals they might not otherwise have met, and have learned about a wide range of relevant and useful topics within the IBM ecosystem.
Last week we were in the beautiful city of Prague for the 8th annual SUTOL Czech user group. It was a small affair with approx. 100 attendees – making it more like an extended family gathering, which actually worked really well. The sessions were well attended and there seems to be a chunk of Czech business that already have hybrid and cloud environments and are users of IBM Connections.
We had a fantastic time at the 8th annual MWLUG conference, which is the biggest ICS user group event in the United States outside of IBM Connect (formerly Lotusphere). With 54 sessions and over 20 IBM Champions speaking, it really was the place to be.
The 7th SUTOL Technical Conference will be held on November 11, 2015 in Prague. For the first time, the agenda is full in English and we expect up to 200 attendees mainly from Central and Eastern Europe. SUTOL, The Czech “Lotus user group”, runs two conferences per year – one business oriented and one technical – with a stable audience of 100 people.

CHALK104: Make Love, Not War - Domino Coexistence with Microsoft Active Directory (& other LDAP) -
Session at IBM ConnectED 2015
Join us on Tuesday evening, 6:15-7:15 PM to talk about the chances and pitfalls of directory integration.
The session will take place in Swan 3-4.
Collaboration & Social environments naturally coexist in a greater context of company infrastructures. So, IBM Domino administration needs to be seen in the context of different applications for managing user identities and access such as Microsoft Active Directory and other LDAP based systems.
Administrators are always looking for ways to speed up administration tasks: setting up users, groups, databases, managing user access etc. There is a huge need to integrate both "worlds" and to rationalise the processes.
