BCC presents with BCC MigrationEngine a Solution for Secure and Compliant Migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Cloud

Eschborn, Germany – April 2025 – BCC GmbH, a leading German provider of secure cloud migration services, unveils its latest innovation: a state-of-the-art solution for migrating Microsoft 365 to the Google Cloud.

The new version of the BCC MigrationEngine enables companies, for the first time, to perform lossless and fully auditable transfers of even encrypted content—including emails, documents, calendar data, and contacts—with Microsoft Sensitivity Labels.

The solution is being showcased at this year’s Google Cloud Next Conference in Las Vegas, where BCC is presenting it exclusively to selected partners and interested parties.

Complete Migration with the Highest Security Standards

The solution covers all key components of the Microsoft 365 environment: Outlook mailboxes are migrated with full folder structures, read/unread status, categories, and roaming signatures. Calendar entries, including recurring events, reminders, and resource allocations, are faithfully transferred to Google Calendar. Task lists with subtasks, due dates, and notes are supported, as well as contacts with profile pictures and local contact groups.

Even complex, company-specific functionalities—such as mailbox delegation, out-of-office rules, encrypted messages with Sensitivity Labels, and migration of large attachments (which are automatically stored as references in Google Drive)—are fully integrated.

Efficient and Lossless Thanks to Delta Synchronization

Thanks to the specially developed BCC Delta Synchronization, migration projects can be carried out in multiple phases—without duplicate data transfers or information loss. After the initial migration, only new or modified content is synchronized, minimizing effort and ensuring data integrity.

“We don’t just transfer content like emails, calendar events, contacts, or tasks with minimal loss—we maintain their integrity and protection completely. Even encrypted emails and documents from Microsoft 365—including Sensitivity Labels—are migrated securely, in compliance with regulations, and without data loss. With our detailed reporting, we meet the high standards of regulated industries. This enables companies to execute a smooth and auditable migration to Google Workspace,” explains Olaf Boerner, CEO of BCC.

Hub-and-Spoke Architecture for High-Speed Migration

Technologically, the solution is based on a hub-and-spoke architecture, orchestrating parallel migrations across multiple servers. This allows for especially fast migrations and avoids common bottlenecks due to API limits from Google and Microsoft. The application is available both on-premises within the customer's infrastructure and as a fully managed Migration-as-a-Service offering.

Highest Standards for Data Protection and Compliance

With a strong focus on compliance and data security, the BCC solution meets the highest standards: In addition to GDPR-compliant processing, all data is transmitted fully encrypted and authenticated using OAuth2, ensuring sensitive company data remains protected.

The roadmap for the second quarter of 2025 also includes other functions, including the migration of OneNote documents to Google Docs or Google Keep and the automatic conversion of Microsoft Teams meeting invitations into Google Meet appointments.
