Scenario

Creating a new team might require different settings for the finance department compared to the marketing department. The finance department may have stricter settings, standard owners (e.g., CFO), and longer lifetimes for their teams. In contrast, the marketing department might have teams for each campaign or project, consisting only of the project members and project manager as the owner. Two templates can be configured to meet these specific needs. Importantly, the finance template will only be available to finance employees, and the marketing template will only be available to marketing employees.

Standardisation of the process for creating objects and the associated metadata in a way that is convenient for employees, as well as the creation of detailed reports.

Tailored Settings

Templates can be customized with specific settings such as

  • Naming conventions.
  • Minimum number of business owners.
  • Lifecycle policies (including expiry timelines and post-expiry actions).
  • Other object-specific configurations.

Department-Specific Access

Access to templates can be controlled on a granular level, ensuring that each department only has access to the templates relevant to their needs. For example, finance employees will only see finance-related templates.

2. Approval Templates

Precise Approvals

Approval templates define exactly who can approve specific requests to involve the right decision makers. This includes actions such as creating, updating, deleting, locking objects, and updating membership structures.

3. Reports

Detailed object reports on following criteria:

  • Dynamic and interactive dashboard with insights (screenshots in presentation) on different object metrics.
  • Reports are multi-tenant compatible, meaning objects from multiple tenants can be viewed together but also filtered.
  • Create and manage custom tags to enhance organisation and reporting. These tags can be added to objects during the request process.
  • Detailed audit logs and precise history of object property changes, which is stored for over 180+ days.
  • Extended governance metrics and data.
