BCC presents version 2 of the BCC MigrationEngine - Migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace

Eschborn, Germany – June 2025 – BCC GmbH, a leading German provider of secure cloud migration, introduces new features of its MigrationEngine: a state-of-the-art solution for migrating from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. 

What's New in Version 2: Even More Comprehensive Migration 

With the release of version 2 of the MigrationEngine, the range of functions is significantly expanded: 

OneDrive file migration: All user files in Microsoft OneDrive are automatically transferred to Google Drive and remain visible exclusively to the originally assigned owner. If the OneDrive file has been shared with others, those access rights to the Google Drive file are honoured.  

Microsoft Teams chat migration: All individual and group chats from Microsoft Teams—including attachments (up to 200 MB), supported graphics, and emoticons—will be migrated to Google Chat. Supported items according to Google support page. A group chat is defined as an adhoc chat between 3 or more Teams users. 

Enhanced protection for on-premises Exchange servers: NTLM channel binding is now also supported for customers migrating from on-premises Exchange – a key security feature for hybrid environments.
