Migration Project Harz Energie

As a regional energy supplier, Harz Energie GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for supplying electricity, natural gas and water to over 290,000 people in the Harz, Harzvorland and Eichsfeld regions. As part of a transformation program, the energy provider decided to switch from its long-standing HCL Domino mail environment to a cloud-based and modern Microsoft 365 solution.

At the beginning of the migration project, the infrastructure of Harz Energie was recorded in a structured manner using the BCC Analyzer in order to obtain transparency with regard to data, users and mailboxes. Once this analysis was complete, the almost 400 users were migrated in several phases using the BCC Cloud Migration Service so that Harz Energie employees could use the Microsoft Cloud services.
